Delivery

We love staying local and so we offer delivery by bike or foot within 1 mile or you can opt to collect your Nudge goodies from The Plot, 80-84 Union Street, Plymouth, PL1 3EZ. Let’s try and keep an eye on our carbon footprint.

We do post office runs twice a week as we are a small business. If you need something sooner for a special occasion then get in touch with us at hello@nudge.community, we will try to do our best.

Currently we only ship to the UK & Ireland, if you live outside of here get in touch through hello@nudge.community and we will try to accommodate you.  During holiday closures normal delivery times will not apply.

Goods in transit are not insured but we have taken every care to package your item well to ensure maximum protection.

Packaging – Some of our packaging is reused from deliveries we receive to our buildings The Plot, The Clipper and Union Corner. We will wrap your Nudge goodies with care and love but don’t be alarmed if some exterior packaging like cardboard may look a little used. We are working towards being more sustainable with the waste from our buildings.

Variation in products – Some of our products are handmade by a local business and so they vary slightly from the product image. You will be receiving something really special and unique.

Returns & refunds – We cannot offer refunds or returns for goods purchased. We hope you will love your purchase, if there is ever an issue, then please just get in touch and we’ll work it out together!

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date it is purchased. They cannot be exchanged for cash and can be spent in our buildings or online.

FAQ’s

Is there something you would buy but we don’t stock?

We are keen to expand our shop, if you don’t see anything you like please feel free to drop us a message with ideas.

Will you get more limited edition things in stock if they sell out?

We are a small shop so we have limited runs in products, once a limited edition item is gone it’s gone, we may bring it back depending on demand. We are always thinking of new things to add so keep an eye out on our social media!

Why is it slower to deliver than a normal shop?

We are a small team who run 4 buildings across Union Street, support our tenants and are out talking to our community. We manage our time well by doing post office runs only twice a week. You can always pop into The Plot if you want to shop in person.

What is a social enterprise?

A social enterprise is a business that aims to make a profit like any other business but instead of keeping the profit privately, it is reinvested or donated to create positive social change. There are different types of social enterprises. Nudge is one of over 200 social enterprises in Plymouth, we are a community benefit society. We reinvest our profits back into Nudge, our buildings and Union Street. We also raise funds through share offers where people can invest in our buildings. The Clipper has a fab 165 shareholders.

Why shop with us as a social enterprise?

When you spend £1 with us, 63p of it stays in the local economy as we prioritise spending with local makers and suppliers on Union Street and in Plymouth.

Nudge spends most of our money with our tenants or local businesses within 1 mile of the Clipper to make sure our community and the city benefit.
