How it works

Life at The Plot

The Plot is a place where you can start or grow your social enterprise. The community-led space offers affordability and flexibility, allowing you to focus your resources on driving positive change.

The Plotters form a network of people who share a passion for making a difference, and between them they have a wealth of skills and knowledge. Joining them opens you up to connections that can lead to partnerships, collaborations, and invaluable support.

“There’s always someone around to have a chat with, to ask questions or if you are looking for help or advice, or just a friendly smile when you need one.

It is a wonderful, supportive and diverse community to be part of and we have been made to feel so welcome since moving in. We love it!”

— Mel Tucker, It Takes A Village

“Being a Plotter is like being part of a big extended family.”

The Plot aims…

…to be an inspiring space where everyone is welcome to spend time and experience how a community can come together to do business, have fun, and make a special space for everyone.

…to be a vibrant and dynamic community where socially-minded enterprises and creatives can collaborate, learn, and thrive, while evolving to the needs of their community.

At The Plot, we value…

  • Collaboration is essential for growth. We foster a space where people can come together to share ideas, learn from each other, and work together to achieve their goals.

  • Creativity is the foundation of innovation. We provide a space where people can come together to experiment and explore new ideas.

  • Trust creates strong communities. We build trust with our members by being honest, transparent, and reliable.

  • Accessibility is key to inclusivity. We believe that everyone should have access to opportunities. We offer affordable rates and flexible terms to make our space accessible to everyone.

  • Respect is our bottom line. No matter what happens, respect comes first.

“In the way tension adds beauty to melody in music, The Plot ensemble includes and uplifts everyone’s song, no matter their musical ability or style. No one metaphor will ever capture what happens at The Plot — you have to experience it.”

— Stu Watson, NeuDICE & QueerOutLoud
